"I LEFT MY FART IN SAN FRANCISCO" by BOBOP MCDERBIT | NEW WAVE

I visited San Francisco a few times and was not impressed.

I lived in the bay area for almost two years while on a job contract. My father often joked to me that one of Mark Twain's famous quotes was, "The coldest winter I ever spent was a Summer in San Francisco." He wasn't kidding.

San Fran is a great place for Triumph the Insult Comic Dog to poop-on. Although he would have stiff competition from the so-called "local residents." South Park had the sentiment dead-on in their episode about electric vehicles and smugness.

Don't get me wrong, the Northern California bay is a gorgeous area with lots of scenery and the air felt much cleaner than what I was familiar with growing up in Southern California. However, "The City" just felt like Los Angeles to me, except if you crammed it all in to a much smaller area, on a steep hill, surrounded it with an ocean and allowed Skid-Row to take over the entire city.

If you ever plan on seeing the Golden Gate Bridge in person, bring an umbrella for the foggy drizzle and a thick pair of boots for the, um... well, just watch where you step. That's all I'm saying.
